3 Foods To Help You Lose Weight

If you want to lose weight, you probably want to do it the easiest and quickest way possible, am I right? Well I'm about to tell you about a few foods that can boost your metabolism and decrease the amount of time it takes you to reach your weight loss goals. Note however, that there is no quick-fix for your weight problems, and that these foods must be combined with other healthy foods if you want fast results. It is my opinion that these three foods should be added to everyone's diet. The great thing about them is that they are easy to incorporate into your diet and taste good too!

Food Number One: Coconut Oil 

Coconut oil is the food I recommend above all others for weight loss, because it has a thermogenic effect on the body. In plain terms, this means that coconut oil increases metabolism, or the rate that the body is able to burn fat. Many people have the notion that coconut oil is unhealthy because of it's extremely high levels of saturated fat. This saturated fat is different though. It is not the same as the saturated fat you find in potato chips or fried food. The saturated fat in coconut oil is in fact what allows it to be a fat-burning food. The fat is converted directly into energy for the body, which it can use to burn fat. So, if you want to burn fat fast, don't always stray away from fatty foods. Instead, devour some coconut oil!

Food Number Two: Lemons 

Lemons are one of the cheapest and healthiest foods out there, and they taste amazing in a cold glass of water. I highly recommend that you begin a routine of drinking lemon water every morning before you eat any food. The lemon is full of beneficial minerals and citric acid, which help to alkalize the body and to cleanse it of toxins. This will greatly enhance fat loss and improve digestion. The alkalizing effect of lemons is responsible for the increased rate of fat burning. An acidic body tends to hold on to fat, while a more alkaline body will get rid of fat quickly. This is a whole other topic in itself, but just know that lemons are extremely beneficial for your health and your weight loss efforts!

Food Number Three: Chia Seeds

You remember those chia pet commercials you would see on television with the funny figures with grass growing out of them? Well, those seeds aren't just useful for growing grass. Actually, they are one of the healthiest foods on the planet and are considered a "super-food" by many health experts. Chia seeds are extremely high in omega-3 fatty acids, which are amazingly beneficial for your brain. They are also full of fiber, and are one of the best things you can eat if you suffer from constipation. The high fiber content of chia seeds is also one of the things that allow it to be such a great food for weight loss. You can add chia seeds to just about anything, and they have little to no taste to them. Incorporate this food into your diet if you want to experience better digestion and elimination, which are important components of fat loss.
